Well. I'm not really sure what the "Bible" is. And I've never heard of angels or heaven. But I saw this quiz on
evankasparov's journal and it was telling him that he was Satan (no "e"), who apparently rules Hell in this "Bible" thing. Well, shit. That was amusing. So I took the quiz.
And what do you know? I got the same result.
I'm assuming there are other villains you can get, but I think this one's fitting, all things considered. *can't decide whether to smirk or giggle*

Satan You scored 60% Pride, 70% Envy, 60% Ambition, and 62% Deceitfulness! |
You are Satan, the consummate villain, and the ascendant figure in the unholy trinity. Throughout history you have been called The Serpent, The Accuser, The Devil, Lucifer, The Prince of the Power of the Air, and The Dragon, among other things. Your “compatriots” in the unholy trinity, the Antichrist and the False Prophet, are merely pawns in your futile struggle with God. Though, they probably don’t know this. This is because you are a master of deception; indeed the Bible calls you “The Father of All Lies”. You are also very ambitious, and you strive to be in positions of the utmost authority. Unfortunately, it was impossible for you to obtain the highest title in heaven and this is part of the reason why you decided to leave. Of course, you couldn’t just leave by yourself, so you managed to use your deceptive abilities to get one third of the angels in heaven to join with you in revolt. God put down the rebellion and expelled you from heaven. To most people, it would seem foolish to start a war against God, but pride can sometimes cause people to do foolish things. In heaven, you were the most beautiful and powerful of all angels and you were well aware of this. Unfortunately, you let your pride consume you and your passions led you down the road to perdition. After you were expelled from heaven, you let another one of your attributes consume you—envy. You knew that you could never defeat God, but you could attempt to destroy humanity, his most beloved creation. Your goal is to bring as many people as possible to suffer in Hell with you. Fortunately for you, but unfortunately for the rest of us, you’ve been endowed with all of the attributes necessary (deceptiveness, confidence, ruthlessness, and ambition) to do a terribly good job at this. |

Date: 2005-07-08 04:00 am (UTC)She sips her own wine, smiling back at him just slightly, letting the wine make her lips glisten and shifting on the divan enough to slide into a more comfortable pose, resting on one arm idly.
"And just what sort of lady would you consider proper, sugar?"

Date: 2005-07-08 04:04 am (UTC)"I've found that that's a judgment usually to be made upon meeting the lady in question, rather than a set of criteria blindly applied." Truth, really. Even if it means little by itself.

"Wise, apparently nameless man." She smiles again, slowly. "Anonymity can have its uses, sugar, but is there really a need for it here?"

Date: 2005-07-08 03:36 pm (UTC)"There's no need." Half-soothing. Half-sultry. "Unless you want me calling you another man's name as kicks. I can always make something up."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 06:24 pm (UTC)"You could. The problem, for my own part, with introductions is that I have so many names. My sons call me one thing, my lovers call me by other names, my brothers and sisters..." Slight shrug.
"And which are you?"

Date: 2005-07-08 06:41 pm (UTC)"Up to you, sugar. At this point I'm tempted to start calling you Caiaphas. Or Bob."

Date: 2005-07-08 06:43 pm (UTC)He's also, for no readily apparent reason, mostly nude now. Dressed only in soft black pants, long and simple.
"Call me Samael, then."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 06:47 pm (UTC)"Samael." A purr and a carress, dancing over the syllables.
"I'm called Surreal."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 08:36 pm (UTC)"Greetings, Surreal." An impish smile and a nod of the head that suggests a full-on courtly bow.
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 08:41 pm (UTC)"Greetings." An equally courtly nod back.
"More wine?" Sweetly spiced with herbs, it's relaxing and warming at the same time. One of her favorites. "Or would you prefer brandy?"
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 08:48 pm (UTC)"Brandy would be..." And the faintest sigh of anticipation, inviting. "Just lovely."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 09:01 pm (UTC)She pours two glasses of brandy, moving slowly back to him to hand it to him, arm outstretched just a bit from her body.
There's an almost imperceptible whine at the door, which she hurriedly locks with a Grey lock. The last thing she needs is the wolf in here.
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 09:36 pm (UTC)His fingertips brush over her skin as he takes the glass, his body preternaturally warm.
One eyebrow arches at the door, and he gives her a questioning glance.
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 09:51 pm (UTC)"My wolf," she explains with a shrug and a wry chuckle. "He gets growly at strange males. He's protective."
*I'm fine. Go. Away* She sends on the Purple Dusk thread to the wolf. She doesn't know if the man can pick up on it or not, but there's no need to lock it from him if he can.
A smile back at him, holding his eyes, basking in the naked evaluation and sensual promise there. It had been too long since she'd played with anyone with any skill in bedroom games. Someone who didn't expect her to do all the work and fell asleep when she'd satisfied them. And Mother Night this one was radiating promise.

Date: 2005-07-08 10:12 pm (UTC)If he can sense the sending he doesn't give any sign.
He sips at his brandy again and then, half because he suspects she expects it and half simply to be amusing, he licks his lips. A swift movement, the tip of his tongue darting over skin. His eyes never leave hers, blue almost swallowing the black.
no subject
Date: 2005-07-08 10:17 pm (UTC)Her smile is gracious, though sensuality lingers as well.
"Is there anything else you would like?" Subltly laced with innuendo, only her eyes sending the second message. "I could ring for some dinner if you're so inclined."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-09 03:01 am (UTC)And then, in the most blatant maneuver they've made yet, between the two of them: "Not necessarily, mind you, for food."
no subject
Date: 2005-07-09 03:09 am (UTC)"For what do you hunger, my Lord?"
no subject
Date: 2005-07-09 03:19 am (UTC)And then, slowly, movements so slow they should be shaky and yet so liquid he seems to pour across the ground, gracefully he crawls towards her. His eyes never leave her face, the smirk never leaves his lips. His hair falls slightly over his face, shading his eyes.
He doesn't say a word.
