Jaenelle didn't bother knocking before coming into Surreal's room. The ring she had given Surreal alerted her to her sister's pain, but it was Ladvarian who got her to make one of her special tonics and bring it to Surreal.

She floated a chair next to the bed and Ladvarian sat next to the chair after she settled into it. She handed Surreal a glass.
