Yes, it is. Even if that may be the only time in a thousand years I've heard 'reasonable' used in a sentence referring to my brother. *struggling to keep a straight face* But the Maze should do it..they aren't planning a long wait.
He pauses, answers carefully. "Partly it's a place, part--a competition or testing of sorts, for fighters, those that have magic or do not. One starts at the south entrance, and there are a set of corridors and traps you have to pass through, either to the center or to find the other exit to the north. You can go in armed, and either alone or with one other person. The routes are 'patrolled' by various creatures. Some you have to outwit rather than outfight, others...you need wits and courage as well as strength. If someone succeeds at it, they win a reward--one they can choose, anything within the power of the Four to grant." He smiled ruefully. "One challenger of ours asked to be granted immortality, a human fighter, the last time. Another asked us to help his race learn to change forms, either temporarily or permanently. Sometimes winners ask for more mundane things, wealth, material objects; it's up to them.
There is no punishment as such for failure, someone asked--it isn't a 'safe' game." He smiled wryly. "Ours never are. But this round is open to anyone of the family who'd care to try."
Not the best venue to try it then. You won't want to be distracted. *nods, deferring to her judgment. He stops, seeming to listen* They're just setting up now.

Considering my male relatives, sugar? Your brother seems pretty damn reasonable.
