Mother Night.

Steak and Blow Job day?

Is that all you males think of?

I reiterate my statement about Graysfang: The one advantage to wolves is that they can at least lick their own balls.

*nods*

Then I am happy to have been of service to you and yours.

For now. I know that I am going to lose him in the end. But it is very good to relish the time that we have.

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Why are you so sure you will lose him?
fannyfae: (fanny ballgown)

[personal profile] fannyfae 2006-03-15 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Alot of reasons, really. He is increasingly melancholy, his inability to forgive himself for past wrongs with constant references that this person or that should be alive rather than him. Ther are also tensions between political factions where we are are becoming increasingly dangerous. Add to this that he has made me swear that I will nae intervene nor interfere..e'en though I probably could turn it by magic in the other direction.

I've come to the realization that all the love in the world is sometimes not enough for some, though I donnae regret e'er having given it.

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
You think he means to put himself in danger, or cause harm to come to himself in order to rectify these past wrongs?

I don't honestly know. His family, chiefly his Ma more than his Da, did a number on him. They were very religious and their God was a jealous and vindictive one, with little room for forgiveness.

There are a few things that he says make his life worth living. I am among them. But when you bring strong drink into the mix, it lends a certain air of unpredictability to it all.

*frowns*

The entire concept of deity still confuses me, but if it is then used in such a harmful fashion...

I do not understand.

You ought not let him drink then. Can you not forbid it?

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
Not all that all of us think of, no. It's generally not even the first or tenth thing on my mind...

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Is it not?

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Not really. Steak... even if I have a craving for a specific food, it wouldn't be the first thing on my mind.

The other... No. It's not the first thing on my mind. Or the tenth. It's a pleasurable, intimate activity. One of many possible ones.

*wry/rueful* I'm... I enjoy my sensuality, sexuality. But I try not to be ruled by it.

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
*slight smile*

It's probably my favorite food. Predatory instincts--most of the Blood crave meat.

*nods a little*

As you say.

[locked]

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
*slight smile* It figures. Though, to be honest, it's one of my favorite foods too, and for probably the same reason.

... love, what is it?

Re: [locked]

Our power comes from the dragons--their blood in ours. *shrugs, smiles* They are certainly carnivorous. The darker the Jewels, the closer to the source of the power, and the cravings.

You should see Jaenelle eat...

*smile fades a bit* Nothing.

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure I want to. Not without some kind of spatter shield anyway. *smiles*

... are you sure?

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
*wrinkles her nose at him* Brat.

*nods* I'm sure. Nothing's wrong.

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
*leaning forward, kisses the tip of her nose, grinning* Of course. One of many reasons why you love me.

All right...

You know that if you have a concern, or a ... you can tell me, yes? *still concerned*

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
*flash of a grin, then nods*

I know.

*slow nod, still worried*

Someday, and perhaps someday soon, we should talk about our tastes in the bedroom, I think. Speaking of... *slight shrug* The topic at hand. Would that make you uncomfortable?

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
*slight smile, arched eyebrow*

Discussions of sex have never made me uncomfortable, sugar.

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
*slight smile* All right.

In the meantime, would you care to join me in the dungeons?

[identity profile] birthrightgreen.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds intriguing...

Re: [locked]

[identity profile] oldestbeloved.livejournal.com 2006-03-15 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
*face slowly going blank*

It's been... rough. And some ... the things I would prefer to do, if I cannot help most of the problems, are generally not for public consumption. The... cathartic activities.

But as we discussed before, you're not averse to the bloodier side of things either.

*sharp, vicious smile*

No. I'm not.
